We were keen to create a rosé, the ultimate symbol of conviviality, relaxation and celebration. But we also wanted the DIVINEO rosé to be a gastronomic wine with a distinctive style, just like our red and white cuvées. That’s how Pétale de Grenache was born, a wine of freedom in every way.
Pétale de Grenache is a four-hands creation by Clodéric Prade (winegrower) and Julien Petitjean (winemaker). Its history is also linked to that of our Affranchis Wine Club, which named this cuvée.
There’s no need to wait for summer to enjoy this rosé with its white wine structure: Pétale de Grenache is a year-round favorite! Drink it on its own as an aperitif, or with dishes built on finesse: Mediterranean vegetables, fish, poultry, terrines or tasty cheeses.
The portrait according to the winegrower
I worked the Grenache noir in the most natural way possible, using the maceration method with aging for 14 months in oak barrels without chemical inputs, with less than 10 mg of sulfur per liter with the desire to make a living wine.
The clay-limestone terroir with “rolled pebbles” enjoys a Mediterranean climate with cool nights.
I use no chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. I use organic farming and agroforestry methods, and harvest by hand, respecting living organisms.
